Connectix has grown organically since formation in 1993 and now has one of the largest UK manufacturing, production and distribution facilities to the structured cabling market in the UK. Clients are openly invited to our head office and site factory in Essex which provides an insight into mechanical and electrical design and development, cable production and manufacturing, testing and QA and our customisation printing plant.
As a respected and reputable manufacturer, Connectix is in control of its design and development to enable new products to be developed quickly on plastic modelling print machinery or metal fabrication equipment. Prototypes can then be tested for performance mechanically and electrically before mass production begins.
Connectix has a global team of sales and procurement personnel, design and development engineers, manufacturing and production teams and logistics staff supported by our own impressive vendors from some of the worlds leading component manufacturers.
Our extensive range of copper cables include UUTP, UFTP and FFTP and for projects where compliance with BS6701:A1 is a requirement we also stock a range of Cat5e, Cat6, Cat6a and Cat7 compliant cables.
As part of Connectix copper cabling system testing we subject our components to individual RJ45 port testing (on every outlet and every patch panel), IDC socket insertion testing, patch cord continuity test and cable NEXT and Return Loss network analyser inspection.
Connectix fibre optic cabling system testing includes light source and power meter and OTDR inspection of optical cables and MTP™ inferometer quality assurance. Test results and production batch serial numbers are all stored and archived as part of our commitment to quality production. Connectix optical fibre manufacturing and production expertise includes;
Our cabinet manufacturing facility operates a 24-7 production program working within BS, IEC and DIN standards and our rack-build facility enables us to produce bespoke enclosures with client-specified features (including removing sides, wardrobe style doors, pre-loaded hardware to set U space, cable management and access).
