Connectix indoor armoured optical fibre drop cable is fully compliant with European Construction Product Regulations and British Standard requirements for BS6701 2016:A1 2017, certified to EuroClass B2ca-s1a-d0-a1. The cables surpass the testing requirements needed for smoke emission, flaming droplets and acid gas production ensuring them suitable for installations within commercial and residential buildings, hotels and FTTX environments.

The cables are manufactured using a free flame-retardant low smoke sheath, with multimode or singlemode G.657.A1 or G.657.A2 optical fibres. The construction comprises individually colour coded 900μm fibres, using a flexible stainless steel tape armouring for installation protection, over sheathed with free flame-retardant low smoke sheath.
