Optical splitters play an important role in Fibre-to-the-Home (FTTH) networks by allowing a single PON interface to be shared among many subscribers. The range of Connectix Planar Lightwave Circuit (PLC) splitters are small, durable and offer wavelength operations for channel-to-channel links found between Optical Line Terminals (OLT) and Optical Network Terminals (ONT) implementing PON, GPON, EPON, 10G EPON and 10G GPON technologies. Options include compact steel tube with tails for splicing, module formats for loading into distribution enclosures and patch panels or pre-connectorised for rapid fibre deployment.
